Every Man's Work
I Corinthians 3:13-15 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
How will the work your doing stand before God?
The things that you spend your life doing, accumulating, are they pleasing to God?
What motivates you? What influences you?
What is your hearts desire?
I have stated to all of you that we each have a ministry. This is what Paul is referring to. How your life and ministry has effected other people. The motivations, which are from the heart, will be reveled by the fire.
Ephesians 1:11-14 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being
according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of His glory (am I?), who first trusted in Christ.
When God has put opportunity to minister in your path, your option is similar to Jonah's; you can run or perform. Based on your heart. Knowing God is patient and His will, will be done.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you also believed, You were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.
Father let me be led by your Spirit that my ministry may stand the test of fire. May I be a willing vessel for your work here on this earth at this desperate hour. May my life and testimony of your mercy be divine influence to others. May I seize each opportunity to be used by Your Spirit in the spreading of the good news and the freeing of the captives. Those who have little hope because of rejection and bondage. Open my eyes that the work I do is gold and silver that will not burn away.
Halle lu YAH Yahushua our soon coming King Amen!
